Abstract
The goal of this paper is an attempt to present the diversity in the current and prognosed migration effects (migration balance) in the biggest Polish cities. Five biggest Polish cities (Warszawa, Kraków, Łódź, Wrocław i Poznań) are covered by the study. The analysis of the index of cities’ migration attractiveness presented in the study allows to get the more detailed picture of the mechanisms of internal migration
