W opracowaniu porównano kierunki i prędkości wiatru w centrum Warszawy (stacja Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego na obszarze o gęstej zabudowie) i na południowo-zachodnich peryferiach (lotnisko) w 1977 r. Kierunki wiatru w centrum miasta były odchylone średnio o około 22,5° (wyjątkowo 45°) w lewo, z wyjątkiem SE, WSW, WNW i NW, które były zgodne na obu stacjach. Kierunki wiatru są zgodne z przebiegiem doliny Wisły (SE-NW) oraz z przebiegiem głównych ulic w centrum miasta (WSW). Prędkość wiatru w centrum maleje średnio o około 55%.In the paper wind directions and speed in city centre of Warsaw (station in Warsaw University campus, in dense built area) and in south-western peripheries (airfield) in 1977 have been compared. The wind directions in the city centre were deviated generally ~bout 22,5° (uniquely 45°) to the left, except SE, WSW, WNW and NW, which were the same in the both stations. These directions are according with direction of the Vistu1a valley (SE-NW) and with direction of main streets in the city centre (WSW).
