Population processes are subject to significant changes under the influence
of extraordinary circumstances. This must be remembered during an analysis.
The article presents the impact of extraordinary mass disorders on demographic
behavior change, frequency of demographic incidences, and to modify
the demographic structure of the population. In addition, an attempt to assess
the impact of recent economic crisis (in years 2008—2011) on population processes
in Poland was presented too
