THE USE OF THE COGNITIVE-DISCURSIVE APPROACH IN THE FORMATION OF THE SOCIO-CULTURAL COMPETENCE OF A TRANSLATOR OF PROFESSIONALLY ORIENTED TEXTS

Abstract

The article considers the cognitive-discursive approach to the formation of sociocultural competence of a translator of professionally oriented texts on the example of German geological discourse. The authors reveale the role of concepts for creating a terminological base in any field of knowledge. They prove that the use of the cognitive-discursive approach opens the possibility of joining future translators to the collective cognitive space of another language community.В данной статье рассмотрены возможности когнитивно-дискурсивного подхода с целью формирования социокультурной компетенции переводчика профессионально ориентированных текстов на примере немецкого геологического дискурса. Выявлена роль концептов для создания терминологической базы в любой области знания. Доказано, что использование когнитивно-дискурсивного подхода открывает возможность приобщения будущих переводчиков к коллективному когнитивному пространству другого языкового сообщества
