on towels 
Suzanne Tidwell 
Poetry 
I found a beach towel 
at the bottom of the clothes basket -
it smelt of Coppertone 
and you 
and coconuts 
and I realized gratefully 
that it wouldn't take 
nearly so long 
to wash the towels anymore.
