The following article concerns musical representations of space in the animated films produced in Central Europe and USSR during communism. The author shows on concrete examples from the USSR, Poland and Czechoslovakia how the composers presented musically the urban scenery (eg dynamic street, concert hall and museum) village (in different views) and even oriental (a number of Asian fairy tales were produced in the USSR), interalia.
