More details to come!The Bear2Bear Benefit & BashOn Friday, April 3, Ursinus College will hold its 2nd annual Bear2Bear Benefit & Bash, a special fundraising event in support of our Bear2Bear Student Emergency Fund. This gala-style event will be held at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve in Phoenixville, Pa., and will bring nearly 300 guests from the Ursinus community together for an evening you won’t want to miss! Tickets are now on sale here. RSVP by Tuesday, March 17.Schellhase Commons Grand OpeningJoin us in commemorating the grand opening of the Schellhase Commons on Friday, April 3, at 3:30 p.m. We will hold a formal dedication program and ceremonial ribbon cutting for the Schellhase Commons, which will be immediately followed by a festive reception and stationed tours of the building.Music on MainIs it a block party or is it a music festival? It’s both! We are celebrating our 150th Anniversary and the opening of the new Commons by turning Main Street into a festival venue featuring 28 bands across six stages on our Main Street porches as well as food trucks and vendors from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 4!SPRING 2020MARCH 4, 2020Call for Nominations: 2020 Staff Recognition AwardsDo you know a staff member at Ursinus who is doing something great, someone who you think should be recognized for their service or significant contributions to the college? Now is the opportunity to share their story and nominate them for a staff recognition award. Each year, Ursinus recognizes staff for outstanding achievements and exemplary services to our college community. Staff Assembly is pleased to put forth the call for nominations for two annual staff awards—the Flora A. Tortorelli Staff Service Award and the Laughlin Distinguished Administrator Award.
