This study considers a two-dimensional laminar diffusion flame in a rectangular channel. A fuel stream and an oxidizer stream are introduced on each side of the channel. The two streams are initially separated by a divider plate, but beyond the plate the streams are allowed to mix and react. The effect of the plate width on the flame structure is considered. In addition, the effects of the fuel stream velocity and the oxidizer stream velocity are also included. Moreover, the effects of the boundary conditions imposed on the divider plate are also considered. The solution is obtained by solving the governing differential equations numerically
