PATTA RADEN. Model-Parent Counselor Consultation for Improving Discipline students
The reality in the field shows that some junior high school students. tend to lack discipline, the cause is a lack of communication between parents with the teacher, and counselor or teacher BK. For that parents need help in terms of improving student discipline. Model Development Consulting Counsellor-Parents (MKKOS), is one of the alternative options. Research and development issues are: (i) How does the description of student discipline, before the development of MKKOS consulting services, (ii) How to design consulting services MKKOS practical and attractive (.iii) Does MKKOS, effectively improving student discipline. The purpose of this study is, (i) Describe the student discipline, before the development and application consulting MKKOS, (ii) Designing a prototype MKKOS. and (iii) Describe MKKOS effectiveness in improving student discipline. This study uses a quantitative approach, the type of research and development that produces the product, namely consulting services model counselor-parents to improve student discipline (MKKOS). Development model chosen is the Dick & Carey Model development with measures; Analysis of needs and objectives, analysis consultancy services, and konteknya konsulti analysis, writing objectives, develop assessment instruments, develop a strategy consulting services, designing / implementing formative evaluation, and summative evaluation, the data were analyzed by using quantitative, and qualitative obtained from the quantitative analysis. Results of research and development shows that (i) Understanding of parents towards education schools, before dissemination and implementation consulting services MKKOS, tend to be negative. (ii) MKKOS feasible, practical and easily implemented by teachers BK, in the field to improve student discipline; and its application in the field proved to be effective in improving student discipline. Dissemination MKKOS models require dissemination, implementation, and research in the context of a more diverse and wider population.
