Este Vol. 5, n. 2 da RT traz três trabalhos que foram apresentados no VIII Encontro de Musicologia de Ribeirão Preto (VIII EMRP, dias 22 e 23 de agosto de 2019), A Música e as Artes Na Universidade: publish or perish?, que teve apoio FAPESP e trouxe como palestrantes convidados John Rink (Cambridge) Aloysio Fagerlande (UFRJ), Paulo Chagas (UCR), além dos professores da casa Fernando Corvisier e Rubens Ricciardi.
