It is toxic organic substance that destroys red blood cells and has carcinogenic effects. Naphthalene released into the environment during combustion of coal and wood. It has the ability to accumulate in the environment, in the body of plants, animals and humans.Humic acid -  natural organic matter is a complex mixture of polymers of the irregular structure. They can bind toxic organic compounds into stable complexes hindering the migration of hazardous substances in the natural environment. In the upper layers of soil formed complexes are exposed to solar radiation. Visible radiation and especially ultraviolet rays contribute to the photochemical transformation of the resulting complexes, releasing toxic organic substances or destroying them.In connection with the above, the aim of this work is to study the effect of humic acid on the photochemical transformation of naphthalene by irradiation model solar and UV light. As the object of study were selected humic acid and naphthalene of Aldrich Company. Source of model solar radiation — helium lamp «Solar» with filter BGG-24 (Xr.,j + 300—800 nin, Wpeak ДО 160 mW • cm-2). The source of UV radiation -  impulse KrCl-excilamp (Xrad ~ 222 nm). Both lamps designed by a team of employees IHCE SB RAS (Tomsk). Irradiation was carried out for 2, 8. 16 and 32 minutes. There were obtained absorption and fluorescence spectra of control and irradiated solutions, complex formation constants were calculated.In the course of the study it was found that the molecular complex of humic acid and naphthalene is more stable to UV irradiation, compared with a model of solar radiation. Fluorescence intensity decreased with increasing naphthalene irradiation time and reaches a minimum value for solutions irradiated for 32 minutes by model solar radiation. Thus, the visible component of solar radiation is more active in the process of photochemical transformation naphthalene associated with humic acids, compared with UV radiation.Y-19EXTENDED REPETITIVELY PULSED SOURCE OF UV SPONTANEOUS RADIATION ON THE BASE OF DIFFUSE DISCHARGE INITIATED BY RUN AWAY ELECTRON BEAMA.G. This discharge can be used for development of sources of spontaneous radiation and lasers in the UV and VUV with high pulsed power and allows to modify the properties of various materials.In the present report, an extended repetitively pulsed source of spontaneous radiation was developed. Voltage pulses with an amplitude of the incident wave up to 30 kV, ~ A ns duration (FWHM) and rise-time of ~ 2.5 ns were applied to a gap formed by 35 cm electrodes providing non- uniform electric field.
