Russia 2: Tomsk State University of .4.гс1п1.есии'е and Building, RussiaThe results of investigation of the microstructure and phase compo-sition of titanium samples with different grain size (0.3 pm. 1.5 pm. 17 pm) implanted by aluminum ioas ido.se is 1 x IGIS ions cm^ i using Mevva - V source (RU). It is established that polyphase implanted layers on the basis of a-titanium grains is formed as a result of ion irradiation. The size, shape and localization of the secondary phases (TiOg- TioO. TiC. TigAl, -A.l3Ti) depends on the grain size of the titanium matrix. It was found that the separation of nanoscale TiOo grains was observed mainly at dislocations in tlie bulk of the matrix grains. Eormation of Ti^O was observed by a big regions on titan surface with mczij polycrystalliiie grains (17 pm). It was established that the ordered Tij^Al phase was formed at a depth more than 200 nm of the implanted layer on the grain boundaries of a titanium target.
