Aplicación móvil para el seguimiento de actividades académicas de los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Fiscal Patria Provincia de Cotopaxi.

Abstract

In the Patria Fiscal Education Unit there are specific schedules where teachers provide tutoring to parents, and it is difficult for them to approach the institution for various reasons, in search of each teacher to obtain knowledge about the academic activities carried out by their children Therefore the present project proposes to develop a mobile application that allows to monitor the academic activities of the students of the Fiscal Education Unit Patria province of Cotopaxi by means of notifications in real time to the parents. The motivation of this proposal to contribute to the process of communication of the teachers with the parents and thus to know the academic activities of the students in real time of the institution. The bibliographic information gathered in several sources such as scientific articles, theses, books and online sources is detailed in the theoretical basis. These bibliographic sources are listed in the respective section of this document. For the development of the mobile application the methodologies that have been used are directed to the systems area; was taken as a Mobile-d development model guide for the mobile part, and Scrum for the Web part.Within the research methodology has been used instruments such as: survey and interview the same that is addressed to teachers and parents of the institution. At the moment of the implementation and training of the users could be observed the acceptance before the mobile application.En la Unidad Educativa Fiscal Patria existen horarios específicos donde los docentes reciben a los padres de familia para dar cualquier tipo de información, y a ellos se les complica acercarse a la institución por diversos motivos, en busca de cada docente para obtener conocimiento sobre las actividades académicas que realizan sus hijos Por lo cual el presente proyecto propuso desarrollar una aplicación móvil que permita dar seguimiento de las actividades académicas de los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Fiscal Patria provincia de Cotopaxi mediante notificaciones en tiempo real a los padres de familia. La motivación de esta propuesta a contribuir al proceso de comunicación de los docentes con los padres de familia y de esta manera conocer las actividades académicas de los estudiantes en tiempo real de la institución. En la fundamentación teórica se detalla la información bibliográfica recopilada en varias fuentes como son: artículos científicos, tesis, libros y fuentes en línea, dichas fuentes bibliográficas utilizadas se listan en la sección respectiva del presente documento. Para el desarrollo de la aplicación móvil las metodologías que se han utilizado van dirigidas al área de sistemas; se tomó como guía de modelo de desarrollo Mobile-d para la parte móvil, y Scrum para la parte Web. Dentro de la metodología investigativa se ha utilizado instrumentos como: encuesta y entrevista la misma que está dirigida a los profesores y padres de familia de la institución. Al momento de la implementación y capacitación de los usuarios se pudo observar la aceptación ante la aplicación móvil.Universidad Técnica de Cotopax
