Reprezentacije ženskosti v tisku slovenske politične emigracije v Argentini

Abstract

*** The text reveals what and how it was written about women in Svobodna Slovenija, the central printed media of Slovenian political emigration in Argentina in the period 1948-1990. The newspaper has built a homogeneous, stereotypic image of the woman: the woman as mother, educator of children, wife, support of the husband, housewife, the queen of home. In several contributions on women, a differentiation between the attitudes towards women is present in the dealt community and in the undestined homeland, fear of materialism, liberalism etc. All mentioned indicates that women were not at all excluded from the ideological struggle of the Slovenian political emigration with the disliked regime in the homeland
