The author of the article describes the development and changes in the
ecclesiastical structure of Mysłowice in the 19th and 20th century. He presents
the image of social, religious, as well as ethnic changes in that territory.
He mentions two important and famous men of the local Church:
cardinal August Hlond and Teofil Bromboszcz
