This thesis contains 3 Chapters of original research in the field of micro-magnetism, preceded by an introductory chapter outlining the background theory and literature. The research chapters, in order of appearance: A simulation and theoretical investigation of Bloch oscillations of spin waves in periodic magnetic media. An experimental investigation into a magnetic texture known as a BiSkyrmion using X-ray holography.
