The knowledge of language has a significant impact on the interpretation of the Qur'an. By knowing the ins and outs of the language, the meaning of the word will open. Like the opinion of As-Suyuthi that there are 8 conditions of a mufassir, namely: mufradat, his madlul, nahwu science, nahwu structure, science and building of tashrif, isytiqoq science, balaghah and qiraat science. Therefore the word has history, usage and experience of the generation who use it. The word can live because it is used and the word can die because it is not used. This research focuses on linguistic knowledge which is a collection of concepts or theories for a construction or structure of language
