Bu çalışma Temmuz 2001-Ekim 2001 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Seyhan Baraj Gölü'nde uygulanmaya yeni başlanan aletli dalış tekniği ile zıpkınla balık avcılığının bu göldeki balıkçılığa olabilecek etkileri tartışılmıştır. Bu tip bir avcılığın özellikle uzatma ağlan tarafindan yakalanamayan büyük boy gruplarının stoktan alınmasında etkili olduğu gözükmektedir. Ancak bu yolla avlanan tekne sayısının çoğalması, stok üzerindeki avcılık baskısının artmasına ve böylece aşın avcılığın oluşmasına neden olabilecektir. Sonuç olarak henüz uygulamada olan ve iki ya da üç tekne kullanılarak icra edilen aletli dalış tekniği ile zıpkınla balık avcılığı faydalı gibi gözükmektedir. Bu şekilde av yapan tekne sayısının daha fazla arttırılması, stokun dengesi ile ilgili sorunlan da beraberinde getirecektir.This study was conducted in between of July 2001 to October 2001. The possible effects of scuba diving and harpooning on the fisheries that has been started at present time in Seyhan Dam Lake was discussed. It was observed that, this type of fishing was considered more useful than that of gillnet fishing due to the function on the catching of larger fish. Although this type of fishing has some advantages, if the number of this type of fishing vessels increase, then it should increase on the fishing effort and the stock would be deminished faster than ever. Therefore, it seems that the scuba diving and harpooning performed at present time was said to be useful with 2 or 3 vessels. Increasing on the number of this type of vessels might cause some problems related to that of the balance of the stock exploitation
