TEZ7686Tez (Yüksek Lisans) -- Çukurova Üniversitesi, Adana, 2009.Kaynakça (s.184-190) var.xvi, 198 s. ; 29 cm.This research is a descriptive study in terms of scanning model which is one of quantitative research patterns for defining perceptions of teachers and students at elementary boarding district school in borders of Adana Province with respect to the school life quality, and is a qualitative study because it is directed to deeply examine their views relating to life quality of the school where they study. The schools which were defined for research are elementary boarding district schools at the longest distance of Adana Centrum and at the shortest distance of the middle and center. A two stage patterns were followed in order to collect the data. In the first stage, the scale which is one of methods of collecting quantitative data in order to define perceptions of the teachers and students with respect to life quality of the school that they study was used. 36 teachers and 643 students from three YIBO (elementary boarding district school) participated in that stage of our research. In the second stage, 10 teachers and 20 students from the two schools having the best and worst life quality were met and their opinions about the school life quality were examined...Bu araştırma, Adana il sınırları içinde bulunan yatılı bölge ilköğretim okullarındaki öğretmen ve öğrencilerin okul yaşam kalitesi algılarını belirlemeye yönelik olarak nicel araştırma desenlerinden tarama modelinde betimsel, öğrenci ve öğretmenlerin bulundukları okulun yaşam kalitesiyle ilgili görüşlerini derinlemesine incelemeye yönelik olmasıyla da nitel bir çalışmadır. Araştırma için belirlenen okullar, Adana il merkezine en yakın, orta ve merkeze en uzak mesafede nitelendirilebilecek yatılı bölge ilköğretim okullarıdır. Verilerin toplanmasında iki aşamalı bir desen izlenmiştir. Birinci aşamada öğretmen ve öğrencilerin bulundukları okulun yaşam kalitesine yönelik algılarını belirlemek amacıyla veri toplama aracı olarak nicel veri toplama yöntemlerinden ölçek kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bu aşamasına belirlenen üç YİBO' da görev alan 36 öğretmen ve bu okullarda okuyan 643 öğrenci katılmıştır. İkinci aşamada ise okul yaşam kalitesi düzeyi en yüksek ve en düşük olan iki okuldaki 10 öğretmen ve 20 öğrenciyle görüşülerek, okul yaşam kalitesi ile görüşleri incelenmiştir.Bu çalışma Ç.Ü.
