Bu çalışma 1987-1994 yılları arasında tedavi edilen ve NWTS-3 (The National Wilms' Tumor Study Group) protokolü uygulanmış 28 Wilms' tümörlü olgunun retrospektif olarak incelenmesi sonucu elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesi amacı ile yapılmıştır. Tüm olgular Pediatrik Tümörler Değerlendirme Ekibi (PTDE) tarafından incelenmiştir. PTDE olguların NWTS-3'e göre sınıflamalarını yapmış ve tedavilerini planlamıştır. Olguların ortalama yaşları 4.4±2.7 olup, 15'i kız ve 13'ü erkek çocuğu idi. NWTS grup kriterlerine göre yapılan sınıflandırma sonucunda; 21 olgunun favorable histojiye ve 7 olgunun unfavorable histojiye sahip oldukları tespit edildi. NWTS-3 tedavi protokolü uygulanan bu olgulardan 10'u (%35.7) exitus olurken, üç yıllık total sağ kalım %64.2 ve iki yıllık hastalıksız yaşam %68 olarak bulundu.The evaluation of cases with wilms' tumor who had been treated with nwts-3 protocol. In this study, 28 cases with Wilms' tumors were evaluated in Çukurova University, Medical Faculty between 1987-1994 years retrospectively. All patient were analyzed by Pédiatrie TumorsStudy Group according to rules of NWTS-3 (The National Wilms' Tumor Study Group) at the beginning of therapy and réévaluation was done regularly. For the whole group mean age was 4.4±2.7 years (10 months-14 years). 15 of patients were girls and 13 were boys. Distribution of patients according to stage and histology were as follows; 21 patients had favorable histology and 7 had unfovarable histology. 10 of 28 patients (35.7%) died with this protocol. Two years desease free survival was found 68% and overall survival for three years was 64.2%
