The objective of this project is the design of a camping site including a
photovoltaic installation connected to the electrical network as well as outdoor
lighting.
The campsite’s area is about 11.000 m2 and it is located in the south of Tenerife
island, specifically in Granadilla de Abona. It has 32 caravan spaces. In addition, if
customers would like to stay in a tent, there are another 24 spaces to accommodate
them – all these with connection to electrical supply. Lastly the camping site has a big
parking ground with 44 spaces for the usage of customers and camping personnel.
The campsite has different facilities; There is a reception (where customers will
check in), a business area (where administration activities will take place), a toilet area,
supermarket, restaurant, and a large leisure area which includes an outdoor swimming
pool.
The installed power is 143 kW and it is divided into two power lines, one will
be used by private businesses (supermarket and restaurant) and the other line by
common services.
The photovoltaic plant is located on top of the built-up area and has 60
photovoltaic panels which will be able to produce up to 45 kW under normal operating
conditions which will help reduce the cost of energy for both the camping and the
private businesses.
The necessary budget to accomplish this project is 436.449,73€.
Customers will choose this camping site as their preferred holiday destination
due to the specific characteristics of the campsite, its outstanding location and the use
of clean energies respecting the environment
