Abstract
Zbog naglog porasta međunarodne trgovine morem njegovo onečišćenje s brodova predstavlja veliki ekološki problem. Kaljužne vode su vrlo štetni neizbježni kemijski produkti koji se nakupljaju u brodskoj kaljuži. Ove brodske otpadne vode moraju biti obrađene u skladu s važećom legislativom. Cilj ovog rada je opisati funkciju i izvedbe kaljužnih separatora koji se koriste na brodovima kao osnovne komponente brodskog kaljužnog sustava.Marine pollution represents a major ecological issue due to the rapid growth of international trade fleets. Bilge water is consisted of unavoidable harmful chemical substances which accumulate in the ship’s bilge. Such waste water needs to be processed in accordance with the current legislative. The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe both the function and performance of bilge separators which are used on ships as fundamental components of its bilge system
