Abstract
O ensaio tem como objetivo comparar as recentes crises políticas da Fifa e da CBF relacionando-as à crise política que culminou com o golpe jurídico-parlamentar que destituiu Dilma Rousseff da presidência da República em 2016. Com esse intuito, o texto procurou se debruçar sobre as denúncias de corrupção e lavagem de dinheiro, delações e prisões de autoridades e os desdobramentos e abalos às estruturas de poder das duas entidades organizadoras do futebol.This essay seeks to compare the recent political crises involving FIFA and the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), linking them to the political crisis which led to the legal-parliamentary coup which ousted Dilma Rousseff from presidency in 2016. With that goal, this text seeks to address reports of corruption and money laundering, whistle-blowing and authorities being arrested; and the developments and the shockwaves in the power structures of those two soccer governing entities
