La sustracción interparental de menores no es un problema social menor, que exige una respuesta
desde diferentes ámbitos. En particular, desde el Derecho debe ser una respuesta tanto nacional como internacional,
dependiendo del carácter de la misma, y que debe concretarse en la aprobación de normas específicas que establezcan
mecanismos eficaces de prevención de las sustracciones y, en caso de comisión, que garanticen el retorno de los
menores con su progenitor custodio. Este artículo describe las medidas que el ordenamiento jurídico español ha
previsto para su evitación y, en su caso, solución.The interparental child abduction is not one minor social issue, which demands a response from
different areas. In particular, from Law, it should be a national and international response, depending on the character
of it. And that should translate into the adoption of specific rules that establish effective mechanisms for prevention
