La Guerra de España provocó la crisis y destrucción de la comunidad científica española durante la segunda mitad de los años 1930. En ese contexto, la revista "Ciencia", publicada en México entre 1940 y 1975, aglutinó a un colectivo científico disperso, que aspiraba a hacer visible la ciencia de una España republicana desde el exilio. Un colectivo que procuró a través de la revista y de otras iniciativas preservar las señas de identidad, mientras esperaba la caída de la dictadura del general Franco. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis prosopográfico de la comunidad de autores que publicaron en la revista "Ciencia". Se han seleccionado los científicos que publicaron mayor número de artículos, sus instituciones y lugares de destino, las áreas científicas cultivadas y el impacto de su trabajo. El trabajo analiza la evolución de esa comunidad a lo largo de los 35 años de vida de la revista y su transformación con el tiempo. Al dimensionar la importancia del colectivo humano que había detrás de la revista, podremos comprender mejor la historia de la ciencia contemporánea en nuestro país.The Spanish War caused the crisis and destruction of the Spanish scientific community during the second half of the 1930s. In this context, the journal "Science", published in Mexico between 1940 and 1975, brought together a dispersed scientific community, which sought to make visible the science of republican Spain from exile. A group that tried through the magazine and other initiatives to preserve identity, while waiting the fall of the dictatorship of General Franco. This research aims to make a prosopographical analysis of the republican scientific community through the authors who published in the journal "Science". To do this we selected authors who published more articles, institutions and places of employment, scientific areas and impact. The research analyzes the evolution of that community along the 35 years of life of the magazine and its transformation over time. When sizing the importance of human group that was behind the magazine, we can better understand the history of modern science in our country
