Dado que el turismo es el sector más importante en la actividad económica de Canarias,
el objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un análisis económico-financiero de dos empresas
hoteleras en este sector, Jardines de Nivaria S.L. y el Costa Adeje Gran Hotel, S.L., las cuales
comparamos entre sí y con otras del sector situadas en el municipio de Adeje, para encontrar
similitudes y diferencias entre ellas, y observamos su evolución entre 2013 y 2017.
Las herramientas utilizadas son el análisis vertical y horizontal de las cuentas anuales,
los principales ratios económicos y financieros. Estos proporcionan información de la liquidez,
solvencia y rentabilidad de las sociedades.
Los datos muestran que ambas empresas, a pesar de pertenecer al mismo sector y estar
localizadas en el mismo ámbito geográfico, presentan resultados muy dispares y similares,
dependiendo del ratio, lo que significa que influye enormemente la política y la dirección que
tome la empresa.As the tourism industry is the most important economic segment in the Canary Islands,
the aim of this study is to carry out an exhaustive economic & financial analysis of two hotel
companies in this sector, Jardines de Nivaria S.L. and Costa Adeje Gran Hotel S.L. We are
