Prilog istraživanju zbirke ljekovitih droga tvrtke ''Merck'' u Zavodu za farmakognoziju

Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu predstavljeni su prvi rezultati istraživanja zbirke „Merck“ koja je važan dio revitalizirane Farmakognoške zbirke Zavoda za farmakognoziju (Farmaceutsko-biokemijski fakultet Sveučilišta u Zagrebu). Sadrži 205 biljnih droga i 4 droge životinjskog porijekla koje su se koristile do pojave sintetskih lijekova, a trećina ih je i danas prisutna u suvremenoj farmaciji. Polovica izloženih uzoraka europskog je porijekla, dok ostale droge potječu iz Sjeverne i Južne Amerike, Afrike, Azije i Australije. Ovaj rad predstavlja prilog istraživanju Farmakognoške zbirke koja ima veliku povijesnu vrijednost za hrvatsku sveučilišnu farmakognoziju i ljekarništvo.In this diploma thesis the first results of the investigation of the "Merck" collection are presented. This collection is an important part of the revitalized Pharmacognosic collection of the Department of Pharmacognosy (Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb). It contains 205 herbal drugs and 4 animal derived drugs that have been used before the advent of synthetic drugs. A third of them is still present in modern pharmacy. Half of the samples exhibited are of European origin, while others are originated from North and South America, Africa, Asia and Australia. This work represents a contribution to research on the Pharmacognostic collection which has a great historical value for the Croatian pharmacognosy and pharmacy as a profession
