La propuesta pedagógica tiene como finalidad mostrar a docentes de inglés, estudiantes y demás participantes activos del sector educativo, la importancia de la enseñanza de las habilidades comunicativas del idioma inglés entre ellas el habla y la escucha a partir de diferentes recursos audiovisuales como lo es el video y la música, facilitando el aprendizaje significativo del idioma extranjero y generar una transformación de aquellas clases catedráticas que impiden un aprendizaje más participativo y conversacional en el segundo idioma. Si bien, esta propuesta se enfocó de dar solución a aquellas falencias detectadas en los docentes del colegio María Reina en relación a la fluidez al hablar y entender un discurso para llevar a cabo una conversación eficaz sin miedo a la equivocación, donde los recursos audiovisuales en la aplicación de la propuesta, jugaron un rol fundamental en la potencialización de aquellas destrezas comunicativas puesto que al asociar lo que se ve y lo que se está escuchando se lleva a cabo la interpretación de los contextos, sin la necesidad de la traducción sino de llevar a cabo procesos lingüísticos que ayudan en la formación del lenguaje, adaptabilidad del cerebro y en la forma de pensar en el idioma extranjero, poniendo en práctica aquellos saberes que se tiene del idioma, donde se restructuran y se asimilan aún más con estos recursos.
La planeación e implementación de actividades audiovisuales en la propuesta pedagógica facilitó al docente el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, fomentando encuentros de confianza que permitieron la reflexión y la sistematización de acuerdo a los resultados arrojados y el análisis en relación a la efectividad de los recursos audiovisuales en la mejora de las dificultades de los estudiantes al expresarse oralmente y comprender el mensaje transmitido en inglés.The pedagogical proposal aims to show English teachers, students and other active participants in the educational sector, the importance of teaching English language communication skills, including speaking and listening from different audiovisual resources such as video and music, facilitating the significant learning of the foreign language and generating a transformation of those traditional classes that prevent a more participatory and conversational learning in the second language. The planning and implementation of audiovisual activities in the pedagogical proposal facilitated the teaching-learning process for the teacher, fostering trustful encounters that allowed reflection and systematization according to the results obtained and the analysis in relation to the effectiveness of audiovisual resources in improving students' difficulties in expressing themselves orally and understanding the message conveyed in English
