Points of contact between morphology, lexicology, semantics. A proposal of delimitation

Abstract

Aun siendo conscientes de que en la lengua todo está interrelacionado, de forma teórica se han delimitado en la ciencia que la estudia, la lingüística, otras tantas ciencias o disciplinas, que tienen como objeto de estudio una parcela de la lengua. Pero el establecimiento de los límites entre tales ciencias lingüísticas no es tarea fácil, siendo múltiples los puntos de contacto y las conexiones existentes entre ellas. Nuestro artículo tiene como objeto profundizar en el análisis de las relaciones entre las ciencias lingüísticas denominadas morfología, lexicología, semántica, atendiendo para ello a la revisión de las definiciones dadas de cada una de ellas, sus objetos de estudio, los contenidos que abarcan y las líneas de indagación en las que se han centrado o especializado.Even being conscious that in language all is related, in the science that studies it, linguistics, many other sciences or disciplines that have a section of language as object of study have been delimited. But the discrimination of the limits between such linguistic sciences is not an easy task, as the points of contact and connections between them are numerous. The aim of this paper is to go deeper in the analysis of the relations between the linguistic sciences designated morphology, lexicology, semantics, paying attention to the review of the definitions given to each of them, their objects of study, the contents that they include and the lines of investigation in which they have focused or specialized
