The state of dental orthopedic morbidity, care, development prognosis and targeted ways of reforming the system of organizing prosthetics for men of military age in Ukraine

Abstract

Проведено стоматологічні огляди 294 чоловіків призовного віку від 18 до 20 років в Івано-Франківській (185 – міських і 109 – сільських) та 332 в Одеській області (170 – міських і 102 – сільських). Визначено величину стоматологічної ортопедичної захворюваності, інтенсивність її розвитку та анатомо-топографічну структуру основних ортопедичних захворювань. Встановлено стан надання, величину потреби та рівень задоволеності їх в основних видах зубних протезів. Надана порівняльна характеристика рівня забезпеченості в ортопедичній допомозі та прогноз розвитку ортопедичної захворюваності на перспективу, при збереженні існуючої системи організації її надання даній категорії населення країни. Розрахована величина вартості ортодонтичних і хірургічних послуг на попередньо перед протезну підготовку опорних зубів при вторинних зубощелепних аномалій і деформацій та аргументовано доведено окрім медичної ефективності і соціальної значності ще і економічна фінансова доцільність раннього ортопедичного лікування руйнованої коронкової частини твердих тканин зубів та дефектів зубних рядів. Пропоноване введення їм гарантованого державного ортопедичного лікування з занесенням їх до пільгової групи населення з надання медичної допомоги.Dental examinations were carried out for 294 people of military age from 18 to 20 years in Ivano-Frankivsk (185 – urban and 109 – rural) and 332 in Odessa region (170 – urban and 162 – rural). The value of dental orthopedic morbidity, the intensity of its development and the anatomical and topographic structure of the main orthopedic diseases were determined. The state of rendering, the amount of need and the level of their satisfaction in the main types of dentures have been established. A comparative characteristic of the level of provision in orthopedic care and a forecast of the development of orthopedic morbidity for the future, while maintaining the existing system of organizing its provision to this category of the country's population, has been carried out. The value of the cost of orthodontic and surgical services for the preprosthetic preparation of abutment teeth in secondary dentoalveolar anomalies and deformities was calculated and, in addition to medical efficiency, social necessity, and the economic financial feasibility of early orthopedic treatment of the destroyed coronal part of the hard tissues of the teeth and defects in the dentition was argued. It was recommended to introduce them to the guaranteed state orthopedic treatment with their inclusion in the privileged group of the population with the provision of medical care
