El presente trabajo consiste en una investigación sobre los conocimientos que poseen los profesionales del ámbito educativo en la detección, notificación e intervención de situaciones de maltrato infantil.
En la primera parte del trabajo se expone un marco teórico sobre los malos tratos hacia la infancia, dando a conocer sus antecedentes, tipologías, importancia del papel de los docentes y algunos de los protocolos de actuación.
La segunda parte consta de un estudio realizado a tres colegios de San Fernando (Cádiz) y una propuesta de mejora a partir de dichos resultados. Para ello, fue diseñado un cuestionario sobre la detección del maltrato infantil, el cuál fue posteriormente distribuido entre los profesores de Educación Infantil y Primaria puesto que son los profesionales que mayor tiempo dedican a los menores.This project is a research into the ability of the professionals in the educational field to detect, inform and intervene in situations of child abuse.
In the first part of the project, a theoretical framework is exposed on the abuse during childhood, showing its antecedents, its typologies, the importance of the role of teachers and some of the protocols of action.
The second part consists of a study carried out at three schools in San Fernando (Cádiz) and an improvement proposal based on these results.
