Market basket survey is considered as a mean to analysis and manage food risk by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Fishery. To select food items for test samples of the market basket survey, we estimated the average Japanese comsumption of individual food items in the summer from the result of household survey and vegetable production survey. Greater tomato cosumption and smaller chinese cabbage consumption were estimated than the result of National Nutrition Survey.夏期にマーケットバスケット方式でTDS を行う際に作成する試料への各食品目の混合量を決定するため, 家計調査, 卸売市場統計から調整係数を推定し, 平成15年度の栄養調査に乗して夏期の混合量を推定した. 家計調査による季節補正と, 卸売市場統計を用いた季節補正の傾向には多くの品目で整合性が認められたが, 卸売市場統計の方が11月と夏期の間の差が少ない傾向であった. 本報で示した夏季の食品目の混合量は, すべての項目に渡って十分なデータを基に推計することはできなかったため, 各食品の消費量の推定値としては用いることはできないが, TDSの際に参考となるデータが公表されていないために報告する
