Altı aylık, 46 kg agırlıgında, disi bir kangal köpegi; sag gözünde dogmasal gözyası akıntısı, sürekli büyüyen veuzayan kıl yumagı sikayeti ile klinigimize getirildi. Olguya yapılan klinik muayene sonunda kronik epifora vekonjunktivaların hiperemisine neden olan, saat 8-11 pozisyonunda lateral kantus hizasında yerlesik korneal dermoidtanısı kondu. Korneal dermoid süperfisial keratektomi ile uzaklastırıldıktan sonra olusan korneal lezyonun iyilesmesiiçin konjunktival pedikül greft uygulandı. Postoperatif 15. gün yapılan muayenede epitelizasyonun tamamlandıgı gözlendi.Anahtar Kelimeler: Kangal köpegi, keratektomi, korneal dermoid.A six month-old, weighing 46 kg, female kangal dog with an abnormal appearance of the right eye,observed after birth was presented to our clinics. On opthalmic examination, the right eye revealed chronic epiphoraand hyperemia in conjuctiva of the latheral canthus in the direction of 8-11 o’clock due to corneal dermoid. Conjunctivalpedigli graft was applied after removing the corneal dermoid by superficial keratectomy for healing of the corneallesion. It was observed that the epithelisation is complate on the 15th day of post operation.Key Words: Corneal dermoid, kangal dog, keratectomy.</p
