Abstract

Razvojem masovnog turizma do izraţaja dolaze posljedice koje turisti i njihove aktivnosti ostavljaju na prirodu i okoliš. Ubrzo se uviđa potreba za razvojem grane turizma koja bi smanjila i usporila zagađenje okoliša. Kroz održivi razvoj turizma nastoje se dati određene smjernice u budućem upravljanju i razvoju turizma koje ne bi trebale imati velike negativne učinke na okolinu. Eko turizam je odličan alat za postizanje ciljeva, a izgradnjom eko smještajnih objekata pokušava se osvijestiti ljude da se i izvan, u svojim domovima, nastave brinuti za okoliš i na taj način se širi svijest o zaštiti okoliša. Eko standard Zeleni ključ implementiran je u poslovanje turističkog poduzeća Ilirija d.d. Kamp park Soline, a radi se o programu certificiranja smještajnih kapaciteta sa svrhom povećanja svijesti vlasnika, osoblja i klijenata o potrebi zaštite okoliša i potrebi promicanja održivog razvoja.
