The authors present the summary of information on clinically relevant interactions of sertindole. Interactions
with QT-prolonging drugs and interactions at the level of CYP2D6 and CYP3A4 enzymes are presented. Moreover,
mechanisms underlying both types of interactions are discussed. In the summary the authors emphasize
the interactions between sertindole and other psychotropic drugs. Finally, some suggestions how to increase the
safety of sertindole therapy are given.

interakcje z lekami wydłużającymi odstęp QT oraz zachodzące na poziomie izoenzymów CYP2D6 oraz CYP3A4.
Ponadto opisano mechanizmy leżące u podłoża interakcji obydwu typów. W podsumowaniu zwrócono uwagę
na znaczenie interakcji zachodzących pomiędzy sertindolem oraz innymi lekami psychotropowymi. Przedstawiono
również propozycje działań zwiększających bezpieczeństwo leczenia sertindolem.
