Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the bases of social relations in the Japanese society. Along the text, several theoretical perspectives about the social structure are reviewed. It concludes by synthetizing that the essential categories of social relations in Japanese society are: “superior-inside” “inferior-inside” “superior-outside” and “inferior-outside”.O objetivo do presente artigo é discutir a base das relações sociais da sociedade japonesa. Para tanto, algumas perspectivas teóricas sobre a estrutura social são retomadas. O trabalho conclui sintetizando as principais categorias das relações sociais da sociedade japonesa: “intemo-superior” “intemo-inferior” “extemo-superior” e “extemo-inferior”
