Arte e espaço público nos filmes de Lygia Pape

Abstract

The trajectory of Lygia Pape (1927-2004), experimental artist in several languages and media, although diversified, have been constantly related to the city and to the daily life, and, therefore, in constant redefinitions. This paper investigates the possibility of analyze her relation to the urban context by her movies and videos, produced over three moments of her production.A trajetória de Lygia Pape (1927-2004), artista experimental que atuou em diferentes linguagens e suportes, embora diversificada, foi constantemente engendrada na cidade e na vida cotidiana, e por isso em constantes redefinições. O presente artigo apresenta a possibilidade de narrar seu envolvimento com o contexto urbano através dos seus filmes e vídeos, que pontuaram três momentos pelos quais passou sua produção
