Medical Image Denoising using Adaptive Threshold Based on Contourlet Transform

Abstract

Image denoising has become an essential exercise in medical imaging especially the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This paper proposes a medical image denoising algorithm using contourlet transform.
