lH_,170_NMRによる水の液体構造解析に関する研究高 橋   晋要  旨現代社会で水は極めて広範囲かつ多様に利用されているが,それらのほとんどは,水の豊かな賦存量や比熱,密度の大きさ等,水の物理的性質を利用するものである。これを水利用の第一ステージとすれば,原子力発電の発達や半導体の超高集積化は極限レベルにまで純度を高めた水を産業の基盤材料として利用するもので,水利用の第ニステージと云える。しかし,第ニステージといえども,微小懸濁物のシリコンウエハー表面への沈着・付着,溶存塩類のドライアップ等の物理的ハザードとそれらが因となって二次的に発生する化学的ハザードの防止ならびに水の高純度化による溶解性の向上に止まっている。地球環境保全等グローバルな課題は,例えば半導体製造ではフロンに代替し得る高い洗浄性を持つ水を,省エネルギーの観点からは流動摩擦損失が小さく流動動力の少ない水を,また動植物の成長促進に生理活性の高い水を求める等,水の密度,粘性係数等の物理化学的物性値を変えることさへ必要な第ニステージに進むことを求めている。第ニステージは水の液体構造を制御し,その物理化学的諸物性を目的に合わせて設計する段階で,これが可能となれば,水そのものが自然の水とは異なるから,熱伝達性,塩類溶解性および生理活性の向上,流体摩擦損失の低減,低沸点化等により無限の新たな工業的利用と効果が期待できる。このような観点からこれまでの水の研究を概述すれば,以下のようにミクロな視点で捉えた物理学的な液体構造の研究とその研究方法論が主であったと云える。① イオンー水分子間相互作用を軸とした水溶液の構造と平衡論,速度過程論的研究② 溶解度向上を目的とした,理論純水に近付 く方法の開発③ 不純物,溶存ガスを除去した水での分光分析器測定とデータ解析による液体構造論工業的利用では,水は常にある程度の不純物や溶存ガスを含むので,使用状態に極力近い状態にある水の液体構造を研究し,その構造を設計・評価できる理論と分析技術が必要である。つまり,H20としての水の構造を論ずるのではなく,分子集合体である液体としての水の構造を検討する必要がある。本論文は水の液体構造制御を目的とし,核磁気共鳴分析法 (以下,NMRと略称)による構造解析法の確立,未だに統一的見解が無く明確にされていない水の液体構造モデルの提唱,および構造制御法に関するもので,次の7章よりなる。第1章は緒論で,水の液体構造解析技術の必要性と工業的発展の可能性,および従来の研究発達過程と問題点について概説し,本研究の必要性と独自性を述べた。第2章では,原産地の異なる水と雪融解水を供試して,溶解化学成分分析ならびに従来多用され学位と学位記番号 :博士 (工学),博第 6授与年月国   :平成 13年3月19日授与時の所属  :八戸工業大学大学院工学研究科機械システムエ学専攻博士後期課程-395-八戸工業大学紀要 第21巻ている170_NMR半値幅法による半値幅の温度特性を浪J定した。得られた結果をもとに170_NMR半値幅法による水の液体構造解析の妥当性,半値幅に影響する諸囚子とそれらの効果について総合的に検討した。その結果,以下の事項を明らかにした。1)170_NMR半値幅法より得られた水のクラスターサイズ,活性化エネルギーは既存の研究とほぼ一致する。2)水の液体構造への溶存イオンの影響および原産地の違いは,半値幅の温度特性の多項式近似法により定量的に表わすことができる。3)雪から高活性の水が得られる。4)溶存化学成分が半値幅に強く影響するため,170_NMR半値幅法による水の液体構造解析には多くの困難があり,より安定な解析法の開発が望まれる。第3章では,170_NMR半値幅法による水の液体構造評価は出来ないので,170化学シフト法の水の液体構造評価への適用性を検証するため,本法に関する既存の研究では考慮されていなかった温度要件を中心に検討し,以下に述べる170化学シフト法の有用性を明かにした。1)170_化学シフトは溶存塩類濃度に影響されず,分裂のないスペクトルを与えるので,170化学シフト法は水の液体構造の解析に有用である。2)温度の対数表示により,水の液体構造の遷移温度は288,303,313および333Kに確認され,それらは水の密度,比熱の温度依存性の遷移温度と一致する。3)170_化学シフトの温度依存性は連続体および混合モデルで説明できる。4)170_化学シフトと半値幅の温度依存性を313Kの水素イオン濃度と任意温度のそれの比で表示することにより,両者の相関性を評価できる。第4章では1,4 dioxane水溶液が広範囲のモル分率で示す共沸性は水 と1,4 dioxaneの液中の存在状態に基因すると考え,水溶液の液体構造,1,4 dioxane添加による水の液体構造制御機能の解明とその定量的評価を目的に170_NMR化学シフト法により検討し,以下の結論を得た。1)1,4 dioxaneは水素結合を切断して水のクラスターを小形化し,水の液体構造を効果的に制御できる。2)170化学シフト法によつて,1,4 dioxane添加による水の液体構造制御機能は定量に評価できる。第5章ではlH化学シフト法の水の液体構造解析への適用性を明らかにするために,温度の異なる水とモル分率ならびに温度の異なる1,4 dioxane水溶液のlH―および170_NMR化学シフトを同時に測定した。測定結果を第3章で確立した170化学シフト法を用い,第4章で水ならびに1,4dioxane水溶液を測定して得た知見を基に検討し,以下の結果を得た。1)lH―化学シフト法による水ならびに1,4 dioxane水溶液中の の液体構造解析が可能である。2)170_化学シフト法で得られた知見はlH化学シフト法にも適用できる。3)lH一化学シフトは水溶液の液体構造を,170化学シフトは平均化した水分子間の水素結合状態を表す。4)水の液体構造を変える2種の制御法,すなわち温度制御法と1,4 dioxane添加法の相関と相異を明らかにした。第6章は,前章までのNMR法による水の液体構造,すなわち平面的クラスター構造の検討により得た知見,-396-lH,WO―NMRによる水の液体構造解析に関する研究 (高橋)① 水素結合は方向性を持ち,2つの酸素原子が水素原子を挟んで直線上に列なるとき水素結合力が最大となる。② 水の液体構造の制御は,水素結合の方向性を制御することで可能である。を基に,21世紀にエネルギー資源として期待されるメタンハイドレートを対象に水分子が立体的に結合して展開したハイドレート構造を検討した。特にメタンー分子を包接するメタンハイドレートの構造および生成・分解機構とその制御法の一試行および工業的利用の可能性を述べた。1)メタンハイドレートが生成する際は,最初に形成される [512]は周囲の水分子とも水素結合しており,他の [512]との間隙を橋渡し的に形成されたのが [512.62]と考えられる。2)水分子間で協同現象的に形成される水素結合の連続性が,結晶性の低いハイドレート構造を安定に存在させると考えられる。第7章は結論であり,本論文の研究結果を要約するとともに,今後の展開等について述べた。-397-八戸工業大学紀要 第21巻A Study on Analysis of Liquid Structure ofVヽater by lH―,170_NMRSusumu TAKAHASHIAbstractThe recent development of semiconductor and biochemical manufacturing industries hasincreased the demand for more chemicaHy, or biochemically,active waterA、、アater unit is composed of both a single H20~mOlecule and an H20~aggregate.
