文脈自由言語の非決定性度に関する考察大  川    知キOn the]Degree of Nondeter可五niSIn OfContext一Free LanguagesSatOshi OKAWAッヘbstractThe interest in nOndeterministic languages has been greatly increasing  ln [1],the degreeof nondeterminism of context―free languages(COunter languages)郁raS deFined by pushdo、、nautomata with reference(counter machines with reference)and the existence of the innnitehierarchies based On the degree of nondeterminism 郡/as proved in he class Of context―freelanguages and counter languages  ln this paper,we investigate some unsolved prOblems in[1]and obtain the foHottring results:1)  FOr every context一free language,the degree of nondeterminisHi of it is bOunded by c・n,for sOme constant c2) For any positive integer p,there exists a context―free language(COunter language)L inthe class of the degree of nondeterminism n/p suCh that L dOes nOt belong to any class of theconstant degree of nOndeterminismMoreover,、ve study the decision prOblems fOr the degree of nondeterminism1.tよじめ に計算機言語のモデルである文脈自由言語の研究において,簡潔な記述を得るという観点から非決定性文脈自由言語に対する関心が高まってきている。一般的に計算機言語としては,無あいまいで決定性である方により興味や実用性があるが,決定性の言語を決定性の機械,文法等のシステムで記述するよりも,非決定性のシステムで記述した方が,はるかに簡潔で理解しやすいことも往々生じる。このようなときには,非決定性言語の実用面での利点が十分考えられる。しかし,非決定性言語一般を対象とすると,扱いにくく実用面から遠ざかりがちなことも事実であるから,本稿においては, このような点を考慮して,文献 1)と同様に,非決定性文脈自由言語のクラスに範囲を限って考察する。昭和59年10月31日受理ネ ェ学部電気工学科助教授文献 1)において,非決定性文脈自由言語(カウンタ言語)の非決定性度をプッシュダゥンオートマ トン (カウンタ機械)の非決定性の動作回数に基づいて定義し,それに基づく文脈自由言語 (カウンタ言語)の部分クラスを定義した。そして,非決定性度に関して無限の階層が存在することを示した。本稿では, まず,文脈自由言語の非決定性度の上限について検討し,次の結果を得た。1)文脈自由言語の非決定性度は線形以下である。次に定数と線形の非決定性度との間の関係について詳しく調べ,次の結果を得た。2)任意の自然数 つに対 して,∪た7(乃)軍7(%ル)である。3)任意の自然数つに対 して,∪たノ(力)寧ノ(2わ)である。ここで, 7(/(ハ),ノ(ア(%))は,非決定性度が/(%)であるカウンタ言語のクラス,及び文―- 24 -―
