In this rapid growth of a modern Surabaya city so fast and amazing. Ironically
representative public space not be build. A perfecf design of open space can be an alternative
education public area.
This research try to study Irian Barat Street area in Surabaya with theory who purpose of
this research. The study has be done with theory study and field study.The result of this
research have coincided between theory and field study that real human behaviour in Irian
Barat Street in Surabaya, so Irian Barat Street in Surabaya can be called Open Space
