Abstract
The present writing aims to provoke the reading of Michel Maffesoli, an author usually unknown in the philosophical field, while as a sociologist has made major contributions to the understanding of the new postmodern socialities, on the basis of the study of imagery in everyday life and its importance in the Transfiguration of the political. The passage of this author to the borders of philosophy is given from his conceptualizations about aesthetics as ethics, offering a new paradigm to think the relations of societies or postmodern groups. © Revista Colombiana de Ciencias Sociales.El presente escrito pretende provocar la lectura de Michel Maffesoli, autor un tanto desconocido en el ámbito filosófico, si bien como sociólogo ha hecho grandes aportes para la comprensión de las nuevas socialidades posmodernas, y para ello parte del estudio del imaginario en la cotidianidad y su relevancia en la transfiguración de lo político. El paso de este autor a las fronteras de la filosofía está dado desde sus conceptualizaciones en torno a la estética como ética y brinda un nuevo paradigma para pensar las relaciones de las sociedades o grupos posmodernos. © Revista Colombiana de Ciencias Sociales
