The concern with reducing environmental impacts caused by man, in addition to the preservation and enhancement of natural capital, coupled with the maintenance of economic and social development, is observed in both academic research and the application and business technological development. This article aims to analyze how the application of the input-output matrix in the textile industries of the state of Ceará, helps in obtaining information for the insertion of this branch of activity in a Circular Economy. The textile industry produces waste during its production process, however, has representation in the share of Brazilian GDP, so the justification for analysis. Some studies have been conducted in other countries using the input-output matrix. The results of this study may help in the formulation of public policies that aim at sustainable regional development and better integration between the actors involved. The application of the input-output model is important in generating information that highlights the relationship of economic sectors in a national and global context.A preocupação com redução dos impactos ambientais, causados pelo homem, além da preservação e valorização do capital natural, aliado a manutenção do desenvolvimento econômico e social, é observado tanto nas pesquisas acadêmicas quanto na aplicação e desenvolvimento tecnológico empresarial. Este artigo visa analisar como a aplicação da matriz input-output, nas indústrias têxteis do estado do Ceará, auxilia na obtenção de informações para a inserção deste ramo de atividade em uma Economia Circular. A indústria têxtil produz resíduos durante o seu processo produtivo, no entanto, possui representatividade na participação do PIB brasileiro, por isso a justificativa de análise. Alguns estudos foram realizados em outros países utilizando a matriz input-output. Os resultados deste estudo podem auxiliar na formulação de políticas públicas que objetivem o desenvolvimento regional sustentável e a melhor integração entre os atores envolvidos.
