Information literacy evaluation in the kindergarten "Bljesak" Okučani

Abstract

Suvremeni oblici pismenosti su sredstva za informiranje, educiranje i zabavu, ali također i čimbenici koji utječu na kvalitetu čovjekovog života. Primjena im se širi nezamislivom brzinom i gotovo da nema aspekta čovjekovog života u koji suvremeni oblici pismenosti i mediji nisu uključeni. Pretpostavljamo da će se takav trend nastaviti i u budućnosti te je potrebno pripremiti odrasle, ali i djecu koji se najosjetljivije članovi našega društva za život u takvom dobu. Osobito se to odnosi na djecu u predškolskom razdoblju, kada je njihov tjelesni, spoznajni, intelektualni, socijalni i emocionalni razvoj u ubrzanom rastu. Potrebno im je osigurati sve preduvjete za pravilan rast i razvoj. Naša zadaća je osposobiti ih da postanu aktivni i punopravni članovi suvremenog društva, ali također i zaštiti ih od neželjenih posljedica koje donosi taj svijet. Cilj ovoga istraživanja je utvrditi koriste li djeca računalo i Internet, za koje aktivnosti ih koriste te kako roditelji i djeca percipiraju Internetsku uporabu i sigurnost.Contemporary forms of literacy are sources of information, education, and entertainment, but also factors that affect the quality of life of a person. Their application spreads at unbelievable speed and almost no aspect of man's life in which modern forms of literacy and media are not involved. We assume that this trend will continue in the future and it is necessary to prepare adults, but also children who are the most vulnerable members of our society for life in such a time. This particularly applies to children in the preschool period, when their physical, cognitive, intellectual, social and emotional development is accelerating. They need to provide them with all the prerequisites for proper growth and development. Our task is to enable them to become active and full members of modern society, but also to protect them from the unwanted consequences that this world brings. This research aims to determine whether children use computers and the Internet, for which activities they use, and how parents and children perceive Internet usage and security
