Abstract
Jednobojni i dvobojni uzorci nježno spajaju renesansu i modernu. The theme of this thesis is based on the idea of the combination of Graphic technology and Textile design in order to achieve a unique, effective pattern intended for the renova-tion of old wooden chairs using screen printing technique.
The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the possibility of applying a basic pigment printing paste, which in the fixing phase forms a polymer film on the surface of textile material with the help of binders. The basic design problem is the search for the form that best suits the technical process of production, then the form that has a pronounced product function, taking into account that the form has certain fine aesthetic qualities.
The monochrome and two-tone patterns gently combine the Renaissance and the modern. Silk-screen printed on flora fabrics give the effect of brocade. Insects from the winged family were taken as a motive. In many people, insects cause discomfort and fear, but they are a very important part of an ecosystem whose importance we want to emphasize. In addition to testing the durability of the sample, it also wants to point to the possibility of recycling and renovation to reduce waste, but also the demand for new, short-lived products
