The usage of Internet technologies in early and preschool education

Abstract

U uvodu rada napominje se kako je došlo do nastanka tehnološke revolucije koja za sobom vuče promjene u privatnom i poslovnom životu pa tako i u obrazovanju. Obrazovanje u ranom i predškolskom odgoju je značajno za djetetov razvoj i život jer omogućava izražavanje fleksibilnosti djece i odraslih te osigurava rast i razvoj djece u kvalitetnim uvjetima. U dijelu rada gdje se opisuje povijest odgoja djece ujedno su opisane i karakteristike obrazovanja kroz četiri razdoblja. Najznačajniji čimbenici odgoja koji su i najodgovorniji za odgoj mladog naraštaja su obitelj, škola i vrtić. Primjenom informacijskih i komunikacijskih tehnologija, koje se koriste u odgoju i obrazovanju, dolazi do brze promjene i brzog rasta, što ujedno i zahtjeva digitalnu kompetenciju. Posljednjih godina i desetljeća, uloga odgajatelja je uvelike postala otežana jer su se promijenila i djeca i poslovne obveze njihovih roditelja koje znatno utječu na djecu, a samim time i na njihov odgoj. S obzirom da živimo u modernom svijetu gdje vlada tehnološka revolucija vrlo je rijetko vidjeti da dijete prvo ima kontakt sa čitanjem knjiga ili pisanjem na papiru, nego u svoje ruke prvenstveno prima mobilni telefon, neravnomjerno koristi laptope i ostale uređaje. Kako bi se dijete pravilno i bez ikakvih poteškoća razvijalo, obrazovalo i bilo uspješno u modernom svijetu postoje osnovni savjeti kojih bi se roditelji trebali pridržavati za dobro svoje djece. Primjenom svih promjena, od djece pa do onih najstarijih, nastoji se otkriti, kreirati, učiti i rasti, tj. živjeti kvalitetnim i modernim životom, koliko god to možda i nije dobro za nas.The intorcduction describes how the technological revolution started and how it brought about changes in life, both at home and at work, as well as in education. Education in early childhood and preschool is significant for children's development and life because it enables the expression of flexibility of children and adults and ensures the growth and development of children in excellent surroundings. Part of the text describes the history of raising children, while also describing the characteristics of education through four periods. The most significant educational factors, which are also the ones most responsible for raising the young generation, are school and preschool. The use of information and communication technology in raising and educating children brings about quick changes and advancement, which also require digital competence. Over the past several years and decades, the role of the teacher has become increasingly more challenging as both the children and the business obligations of their parents have changed, which significantly affects the children and their education. Considering the fact thet we are living in a modern world under the influence of a technological revolution, it is incredibly rare to see a child who has contact with a book or writing on paper before it uses a mobile phone, laptop or other devices. In order for a child to properly and easily develop, be educated and be successful in the modern world, there are basic pieces of advice that parents should follow for the well-being of their children. The implementation of these changes on children of all ages will help them discover, create, learn and grow or, in other words, live a great, modern life, even if it might not be good for us
