Care and resuscitation of the newborn infant

Abstract

Development and Application of these Recommendations: A working group of the Swiss Society of Neonatology (SSN) published national recommendations on the care and resuscitation of the newborn infant in 2000. Following a first update in 2007, the current paper represents a revision of these recommendations based on new data and evidences1), and revised international guidelines2)-7). These recommendations should be considered as guidelines that can and should be adapted as the individual situation requires
