Setting it upright, I balance it on brown, frustrated grassin a parched, frustrated worldwith the present eating the future.I hear a group singing and a guitarfrom the far side, a folk songfrom the 60s about love, a new spiritof peace in the world.  Maybeif I open my door, a revolutionof understanding will emerge,a new thrust of green and growing,and the bird of life, many coloredwith many different and strange ideas,will sing again on the Earthand drown out the bigoted chantsof death in jackboots marching.
