Este trabalho tem como objetivo realizar uma análise multitemporal do uso do solo para o município do Conde – PB nos anos de 2000 e 2011. São utilizadas, para tal, imagens do satélite landsat – 5 e o SIG SPRING 5.2 para a efetivação da classificação das imagens e mapeamento dos diferentes tipos de uso e ocupação presentes no município ao longo desses 11 anos. O resultado final consiste em uma análise comparativa, principalmente em relação à quantidade de áreas verdes e áreas urbanizadas presentes, inferindo desse modo, o quanto a urbanização avançou sobre as áreas anteriormente vegetadas. Os dados resultantes deste trabalho servem como base a futuras pesquisas no município supracitado e também como ferramenta para tomada de decisões acerca do território, se consultados por gestores responsáveis por tal.MULTITEMPORAL CLASSIFICATION IN THE USE AND OCCUPATION OF LAND AT THE CONDE MUNICIPALITY – PBAbstractThis paper aims to conduct a multitemporal analysis in the use and ocupation of land at the Conde municipality - PB in the 2000 and 2011 years.
