En las Enseñanzas de Régimen Especial (Conservatorios), la asignatura de Piano Complementario está orientada hacia alumnos de Enseñanzas Profesionales que cursan otros instrumentos. La necesidad de la práctica pianística radica en que permite una mejor comprensión de la polifonía y una plasmación sonora inmediata en especialidades no instrumentales (como Dirección y Composición). En el caso de los instrumentos monódicos, permite un mejor conocimiento del repertorio de su instrumento principal, pero también facilita la asimilación y comprensión de otras asignaturas.In the learnig of Special Regime (Conservatories), the subject of Complementary Piano is focused towards Professional Educations students who play other instruments. The need of piano practice is that allows a better perfection of polyphony and an instant sound shaping in no instrumental specialities (such as Conduction and Composition).
